The combination of confidence in his cutting and coloring skills along with his desire to bring out all potential beauty comforts clients who sit in his chair. Ziggy pairs his training in classic techniques with his love for modern, edgy looks to bring you the creation that will compliment your lifestyle. Like a diamond polisher, Ziggy strives to sharpen your true beauty while incorporating your lifestyle into your new look.

Haley MacMillan

Haley landed in Austin at the impressionable age of 10, and inspired by the creativity that saturates Austin, she delved into a world of art and fashion. With her best friends’ mom as a successful salon owner, she quickly found the connection hairstyling has with art and fashion. And from there it was lift off! After graduating high school, she trained at Avenue 5 under the best educators in Austin.
Now she is continuing her education and is growing her clientele with the help of Michael Fenner and the Waterstone team. Haley loves to cut, color, and style, but her passion lies with highlights and all things extreme. Check her out and see what she can do!

Amanda Wheatley

Front Desk Manager

Amanda was born with style coursing through her baby veins. At age three, she paired pink plastic Barbie pumps with her brother’s camo pants belted with a jump rope and it worked. Since then, her iconoclastic wardrobe and hairstyles have become legendary. In high school, she began designing avant-garde t-shirts and giving them to friends. Voted Most Likely to Win an Oscar by her senior class at Westlake HIgh School in 2007, Amanda is an accomplished theater and film actor. An articulate voice for various nonprofit causes, Amanda volunteers as a leader in charitable causes to end human trafficking and clothe homeless elementary students in Austin.

Katy Strickert

Katy’s discerning eye for beauty design has been the foundation of her ten year long career in Austin, Texas. She has trained with top stylists in the Austin area and has received extensive training as a color specialist. Her love for cutting-edge styles with color, cuts and make-up has landed her numerous awards as well as an appearance on the show “Ambush Makeover.” Katy’s undeniable spark and talent for all things beauty shine in photo shoots, hair shows and fashion shows. Her love for skin has opened new doors of opportunity and she is now offering skin care services. Katy’s goals in the beauty industry are to further her education in the latest techniques for aesthetics while maintaining the integrity of her clients’ looks.

Michael Fenner

Of the 20 years Michael has practiced in the hair industry, 17 have been spent here in Austin, Texas. He discovered his passion for hair in his early teens and shortly thereafter decided to make it a lifelong career.

Michael has brought his creative talents to the runway and photo shoots, leading him to be featured in several publications. His love for hair led him to teach and share his expertise with fellow stylists as a salon educator for 12 years. He is always striving to learn and share more.

Michael believes that a visit to the salon should be about more than just a great cut or color, but rather an overall experience. From the scalp massage to the polished end result; from the smile when you enter the door to the hug when you leave, your visit is always important.

Nancy Rankin

Nancy Rankin has been an innovative stylist on the Austin scene since the early 90s. Specializing in hair cutting, styling and make-up, Nancy believes hairdressing is akin to
sculpture and architecture. She applies leading-edge techniques inspired by
natural forms to specifically tailor styles to her individual clients.

When not working in the salon, she brings her skills to a variety of arenas including photo shoots and fashion shows for noted designers such as Tomer Gendler and Cat Swanson. Magazines in which her work has been featured include Feedback and Jewell. Take a look at her impressive portfolio.

Kristin Yarmer

Kristin Yarmer grew up in Austin, Texas. She started cutting hair at age 9 and coloring around 14. Her passion for dressing hair naturally led her into her 8 year career. In 2004 she placed in the Aveda Top 6 nationally for connecting color, cut and makeup. She has also worked as a Bumble and bumble network educator. She has done numerous local fashion shows and published photo shoots as well. Her true passion in the hair industry is doing anything with color and highlighting. Kristin loves animals, movies and riding around town on her beach cruiser.

Jon D

Since the early 90s, Jon D has specialized in the more creative side of his craft and placed a strong emphasis on personalization to establish an artistic vision based in individual style. Jon D began his training in Dallas and moved to Austin to take residence at one of the top salons for nine years where his strength in foundation and detailed precision cuts became finely honed. While there he attained the level of educator, working on many local fashion shows as well as detailing tons of amazing looks in salon. Jon D loves the opportunity to work on the edgier side of trends but without fail is always happy to provide service to any cut requested.

Jon’s dedication to personal growth has inspired him to study photography, Spanish, culinary arts, Shiatsu, Tai Chi and most recently CrossFit training. Jon D is also a licensed Realtor. This man of many talents is always happy to learn when a topic of interest presents itself in a way that allows his passions to flow.
